Sheryl Rosenberg Thouin, MPH, RD, CDE has served as nutrition consultant and lecturer for leading universities, corporations and organizations including David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, USC Keck School of Medicine, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texaco, Baskin-Robbins, PRIMEDIA Workplace Learning, and the California Academy of Family Physicians.   Sheryl has more than twenty years of experience as a registered dietitian of the American Dietetics Association and is certified by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. She has appeared on both radio and television discussing a range of clinical nutrition and public health issues.  She works with third year Medical Students during their Primary Care Medicine clerkships; develops and implements diabetes nutrition training webinars for the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians; and has provided didactic nutrition lectures for Family Medicine Residency Programs throughout southern California including: Harbor-UCLA Family Practice Residency; UCLA Family Practice Residency Program at the Les Kelly Health Center in Santa Monica; Ventura Family Practice Residency; and Glendale Family Medicine Residency Program.  Currently, Sheryl holds a clinical nutrition faculty position at the Northridge Family Practice Residency Program, affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
